Bow Barracks is a popular neighborhood in Kolkata inhabited by the Anglo Indian community who have been traditionally living in this area since ages. The place is famous as a popular heritage walk/ tourist destination and has been made popular through movies and documentaries like the movie made by Anjan Dutta in 2004 named Bow Barracks forever..

Me and a friend made an unplanned visit to this place, last evening with photo shoot in mind. But the entire experience became surprisingly incredible as the people out there turned out to be very friendly. We spent a lot of time there, sitting with them, chit chatting and eating delicious food being sold by a local resident, Diane. She also offered us some of her home made wine for free. 🙂
